Conversion goals for campaigns, split tests for workflows

Attach a goal to a campaign and Loops counts who converts in the window you set. In workflows, experiments test versions of an email against each other.

Decide what counts as a conversion

A goal has a target, a window, and an optional filter.

Target filter

The contact state that means success, like plan equals pro.

Measurement window

How many days recipients have to reach the target. Override it on any campaign.

Eligibility filter

Optional. Measure only some recipients, like free users.

Reusable goals

Create a goal once in Settings and attach it to any draft campaign.

Count the contacts who could still convert

Loops only enrolls recipients who haven’t reached the target yet.

Only new conversions

Recipients who already match the target aren’t enrolled, so they can’t inflate the count.

Conversions stick

Match the target once in the window and it counts, even if properties change later.

Clear numbers

See contacts evaluated, enrolled, and converted, plus a daily chart. Nobody counts twice.

Split test emails inside a workflow

Send each version to a share of contacts, compare sends, opens, and clicks, then make the winner the control.

What goals can and can’t tell you

Goals show correlation, not proof that an email caused a conversion.

What a goal measures

How many recipients reached the target after a campaign, within your window.

What it can’t measure

How many would have converted anyway. Nobody is held back from the email.

Why there’s no proof

Proving cause takes a holdout group that gets no email. Goals don’t have one.

Read it as a signal

Use goal numbers to compare campaigns, not as revenue an email produced.
