User Uploaded Content

In connection with using our Services, you may upload content (“User Uploaded Content”).  User Uploaded Content may include content containing Personal Data.  Additionally, any User Uploaded Content may include metadata related to the content.  This metadata may also contain Personal Data.  By uploading User Uploaded Content, you permit us to collect, process and store your User Uploaded Content.  You can delete the User Upload Content from your account at any time.

Other Information You Submit

You may submit Personal Data to us for limited purposes, such as requesting customer support, providing feedback on our Service, or signing up to receive communications from us. 

Usage Data

We may also automatically collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access Service by or through a mobile device including information about when and how you visit and interact with the Services, what webpages you accessed, and your interaction with website features (“Usage Data”).

Data We Collect During Email Scanning and Review

As a condition of using our Service and as stated in our Terms of Service, we will engage in the automatic scanning or crawling of your emails to ensure that your emails do not contain spam or malicious links.  Additionally, in certain instances, including if an email is flagged during our automated scanning/crawling review, we will conduct a manual review of your emails to ensure that the emails do not contain spam or malicious links, fraudulent or prohibited content (as defined in our Terms of Service), or do not contain content that would threaten the safety of another person.  During the automated scanning/crawling or the manual review process, we may collect Personal Data, to the extent it is contained in the content of the scanned or review emails.  Such Personal Data is stored or used by us only to the extent necessary to determine if an email’s content contains spam, prohibited or fraudulent content, or threatens the safety of others. 

Payment Information

We may provide paid products and/or services within Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your Personal Data is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Astrodon uses the collected data for various purposes:

  2. To provide, maintain and improve our Service.

  6. To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service.

We may aggregate and/or anonymize information collected through the Services so that such information does not identify you as the source of the information.  We use such aggregated and/or anonymized data for machine learning to support and improve certain product features and functionality within the Service.

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

If your account is deleted, deactivated or terminated, your Personal Data will be deleted within twelve (12) months from termination or deactivation.  

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Astrodon is based in the United Stated but operates globally. Your Personal Data is processed at our operating offices and in any other locations where the service providers are located.  

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.  

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. By using the Services or providing your Personal Data to us, you acknowledge and consent that your Personal Data may be collected, processed, or transferred outside your country.  

Astrodon will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including, for instance, by entering into the appropriate data processing agreements and, if required, standard contractual clauses or an alternative mechanism for the transfer of data as approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) or other applicable regulators or legislators.

Right to Delete Your Personal Data 

If you make this request, we will delete the Personal Data we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct any service providers to do the same. In some cases, deletion may be accomplished through de-identification of the information. If you choose to delete your Personal Data, you may not be able to use our Services, or certain features of our Services that rely on such data.

If you find that we maintain any inaccurate Personal Data, you have the right to correct such inaccuracy.

Right to Stop the Sale of Your Personal Data

We don't sell or rent your Personal Data to any third parties for any purpose. 

Please note, if you ask us to delete your Personal Data, it may impact your experience with us, and you may not be able to participate in certain programs or membership services which require the usage of your Personal Data to function. In order to protect your privacy and the security of your Personal Data, we verify consumer requests by requesting certain account information.  

You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. You must provide an authorized agent written permission to submit a request on your behalf, and we may require that they verify their identity directly with us.
