You’re on the todays.design waitlist!
Why we like it
today's design keeps their waitlist email short and to the point, which is always nice! They have some fun with a unique "upvote" graphic which is a playful reminder and hint of what they are building. Finally, their only CTA is a button to follow them on Twitter/X which allows them to grow their following and share updates while the waitlist continues to grow.

Spline has a bit of fun with their waitlist email — including an image that hints at what their product does as well as using emojis in their subject line and email. They offer multiple social channels for you to follow along as they continue building the product, in hopes that you remain interested as they build out the necessary features. They also offer an immediate way to join their community Discord so that you can have a direct channel to their entire team even while waiting for your official invite.

Well... this was our waitlist email! But it worked well and we think one of the main reasons was the invite to completely skip the waitlist by simply replying and introducing yourself. We figured that if you were interested enough to complete that additional step that you would be a great fit for an alpha invite into the app.

Robinhood did a great job of leveraging their waitlist email to generate referrals. Want access to Robinhood sooner? Invite your friends! The premise was simple but it worked. They also included a link to check your spot on the waitlist at any time so that you remained interested as your invite came closer.
