Why we like it

todays.design keeps their waitlist email short and to the point, which is always nice! They have some fun with a unique "upvote" graphic which is a playful reminder and hint of what they are building. Finally, a "Follow us" button gives readers a way to keep up with updates while they wait for access.

Why we like it

Spline has a bit of fun with their waitlist email, including an image that hints at what their product does and an emoji in the subject line. They ask you to tag and follow them on social while they keep building, and they point you to their Discord community, recent feature launches, and the FAQ so there is something to do while you wait for your invite.

Well... this was our waitlist email! But it worked well and we think one of the main reasons was the invite to get early access by replying to the email and saying hey. We figured that if you were interested enough to complete that additional step that you would be a great fit for an alpha invite into the app.

Robinhood used their waitlist email to generate referrals. Want access to Robinhood sooner? Invite your friends! The premise was simple. They also included a link to check your spot on the waitlist at any time.
