# Delete emails

> Remove campaigns, workflows and transactional emails from your account.

## Deleting campaigns

To delete a campaign, go to [Campaigns](https://app.loops.so/campaigns), click the `•••` menu icon on the campaign you want to delete and select **Delete**.

## Deleting transactional emails

To delete a transactional email, go to [Transactional](https://app.loops.so/transactional), click the `•••` menu icon on the email you want to delete and select **Delete**.

  Before deleting a transactional email, remove any code or integrations that send it using its transactional ID. Requests for a deleted transactional email will no longer send.

## Deleting workflows

### Deleting workflows in the app

To delete a workflow, go to [Workflows](https://app.loops.so/workflows), click the `•••` menu icon on the workflow you want to delete and select **Delete**.

  Deleting a workflow deletes all of the emails inside it. Deleting a workflow that is sending stops it from sending, and any contacts queued in the workflow are removed.

### Deleting an email from a workflow

If you only want to remove a single email from a workflow, open the workflow and delete the email node instead. If the workflow is running, you need to [pause it](/docs/workflows/pausing) first.

### Deleting workflows with the API

You can delete workflows using the API's [Delete a workflow](/docs/api-reference/delete-workflow) endpoint. The request requires the workflow's current `expectedRevisionId`, which you can get from the [Get a workflow](/docs/api-reference/get-workflow) endpoint.

If the workflow is sending or has queued contacts, the API returns a `409 Conflict` response instead of deleting it. Send the request again with `confirmDelete: true` to delete the workflow, stop sending and cancel its queued contacts.

## Recovering deleted emails

Deleted emails are kept in your account for 30 days. You can recover them from [Settings -> Recently Deleted](https://app.loops.so/settings?page=recentlyDeleted).
