# Delete your account

> How to permanently delete your Loops account.

You will need the account owner role to delete your account.

<Warning>
  Deleting your account is permanent. All emails, contacts, audience data and team settings will be removed and cannot be recovered.
</Warning>

1. Go to [Account settings](https://app.loops.so/settings?page=account).
2. Scroll to the **Danger Zone**.
3. Click **Delete this team...**.
4. In the confirmation modal, review the list of sending domains that will be deleted and the actions that will happen immediately.
5. Type **permanently delete team** in the text field to confirm.
6. Click **Permanently delete**.

If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it from the [Billing settings](https://app.loops.so/settings?page=billing) before deleting your account.
